Suzanne Cohen, DDS

Dr. Suzanne Cohen is a Long Island native who earned her B.S. in Biology with a minor in dance from the C.W. Post Campus of Long Island University. She went on to complete her Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Colorado School of Dentistry, where she earned high honors, including recognition from the Pierre Fauchard Society and the American Association of Women Dentists, as well as the Dental Materials Award.

Following dental school, Dr. Cohen completed an advanced General Practice Residency at University Hospital at Stony Brook, focusing extensively on care for medically compromised patients, and was subsequently selected to serve a second year as Chief Resident. She then led a pediatric clinic for the Brookhaven Health Center before serving the local community in private practice for a decade. In 2013, she acquired her practice from Dr. Art Jarit and has continued its steady growth ever since.

A long-time local resident, Dr. Cohen is proud to have raised her family in the same community her practice has served for over 30 years, and she considers it a privilege to care for generations of local families.

Stephanie has been in the dental field for 15 years and a practicing hygienist for over 6 of them. She enjoys educating patients on the importance of home care and the connection between oral and overall health.

Outside of work, I’m a creative soul who enjoys crafting and bringing ideas to life, and I cherish spending time with my husband, my son, and my animals.
